Trader, Emerging Market Trading recruitment
Position Purpose
The Emerging Market Trading group runs a directional and relative value portfolio of fixed income, FX and Interest rates, and credit instruments in the global emerging markets. The position will be part of the Asia desk of EMT and will be responsible for trade execution as well as a significant bit of analytical work.
Principal Accountabilities
- 40% - Trade execution in FX, IR and Credits
- 30% - MIS production and dissemination for the desk
- 30% - Analytical support to the Trading desk

Skills
Education, Experience, Skills (Required)
- Bachelors degree with a strong quantitative component
- 1-2 years in financial trading
- Demonstrated transactional experience of dealing in FX and or Interest rates
- Strong data base management skills
- Highly motivated, with strong personal organization skills
- Willingness to constantly innovate and learn new skills
- Ability to express, understand and discuss complex concepts with fluency, in spoken and written English
Education, Experience, Skills (Preferred)
- A post graduate degree in Finance or financial engineering or economics
