Trader (Execution Trader)
Job Duties:
• Working in a small team environment
• Execute trading orders given by Portfolio Managers (** no prop./proprietary Trade book **)
• Coverage universe from fixed income, equity, derivatives (futures/ options), to FX, globally
• Conduct trading performances with brokers/ counterparty on a regular basis; pre/post trade review, transaction cost analysis etc.
• Generate trading summary and trade-related reports
• Take lead on projects in various regular/ ad hoc trading related projects (e.g. market impact evaluation, trading venue comparisons, etc.)
• Please provide the list of markets and programs (self-created/ brokers’ Algorithm) that you used during the execution. Also please provide list of brokers you used in your current/past job(s)
• This is NOT a proprietary trading position. It is a pure execution desk, a clean execution trader position
Job Requirements:
• Degree holder from recognized University, i.e. Bachelor degree or above
• 4+ years of EXECUTION TRADER experience from a sizeable firm
• Extensive knowledge on execution strategy (cash/ agency/ electronic, etc.); electronic and/or basket trading a plus
• Knowledge on Excel VBA/ SQL/ programming language a plus
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Excellent communication, social skills with great team spirits
• Candidates with IBD/ sell or buy side execution desks background would be preferred.
• Only candidates with relevant experience shall apply.
• This is NOT a proprietary trading position
• Work on NIGHT SHIFT IS NECESSARY
