Working within the trading team you will execute order flow and provide feedback to PM’s on anomalous market action.You will also test the Platinum view relative to the “market consensus” relating to specific equity investment ideas.The right candidate will also initiate specific research projects and recommendations to the benefit of the broad investment team. As an investor, understanding the market and ‘risk’, this position is significantly more challenging than order processing.
The successful candidate could come from a variety of backgrounds including both trading and research.Importantly you must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of both markets and fundamental stock analysis.
