Trading – Senior Soft/Agricultural Trader, Physical, Sugar, Wheat, Grain, Corn, Edible Oils, Pulses, Geneva office recruitment
They are seeking highly experienced and well connected physical soft and agricultural commodity traders who can add immediate value to their team. Their main focus is in the sugar, wheat, grain, soybean, edible oils, corn, rice, and pulses markets, which they are looking to increase their presence in.
Responsibilities for Senior Soft/Agricultural Trader, Physical, Sugar, Wheat, Grain, Corn, Edible Oils, Pulses, Rice, Geneva, Switzerland, Europe, Stamford, USA:
- Develop profitable physical trading book
- Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities for the company as well as maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients in Geneva, Europe, and the USA
- Be an influential part of future plans to expand the team in to one of the leading physical trading houses
- Assist in the development of the Geneva office and increasing presence in European markets
Skills / Attributes required for the role:
- 6+ years of physical soft/agricultural trading experience
- Extensive knowledge of sugar and grain markets preferably
- Willing to locate in either Stamford or Geneva
- Have prior experience of running profitable book
