Key Skills
• Strong MS Excel skills (VBA/Macros not necessary)

Experience
• BA/BS in Economics, Finance, or Business preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of work experience (related field and/or Excel usage strongly preferred)
• Demonstrated interest in finance/capital markets
• Fixed Income, Mortgage Finance, and/or time-value of money knowledge also strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
• Collect, organize, and manipulate data that (in)directly lead to trades for the firm.
• Build and maintain spreadsheets and models needed for desk operations
• Gain literacy (then expertise) in the products that the desk trades
• Become Series 7/63 licensed.
• Execute trades
• Fixed Income/MBS market research
• Involvement in the in the integration of desk analytical tools and accounting systems.
• Ad hoc requests
