Trading and Operations Analyst recruitment
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Setting up client accounts in portfolio management systems
- Performing daily account maintenance and reconciliation including managing custodian interfaces as well as reviewing daily account balances
- Preparing weekly client performance and monitoring reviews
- Rebalancing FEG/Managed Portfolios accounts and providing assistance during all account rebalancings and reallocations
- Maintaining GIPS-compliant composites and leading the maintenance, reconciliation, and distribution of performance data
- Managing audit and compliance functions through designing and adopting and testing procedures
- Managing and/ or assisting in the internal operations of private capital fund offerings and other illiquid/semi-illiquid strategies, including activities such as:
- Performing fund administration activities including reconciliation of cash and monthly funding commitments
- Coordinating capital calls for private investments as well as reconciling any cash and commitments
- Coordinating and assisting with any regulatory filings
- Producing analytical reports and risk assessments as needed
- Perform other duties and responsibilities not specifically mentioned herein that may arise in the normal course of business
Qualifications
The qualified Trading and Operations Analyst must have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience in the investment management industry. The candidate must be detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills. Other desired traits include a strong systems aptitude and a background in RIA back office operations and trading. The candidate must be proficient in MS Excel. Familiarity with trading software and other portfolio accounting systems is preferred.
