Trading Manager
We are currently working with an international trading firm and supply chain manager with offices in Asia. They are expanding at large in China and looking for a manager to join their team in Beijing.
Responsibilities for Manager –Fertilizer role:
- Physical Fertilizer trading across the Asian Markets
- Oversee Operational Trade Cycle
- Analyze commodity market trends
- Business travels across the Asia region to further develop business for the company
- Manage trading books to reach annual profit target
- Manage the team and the oversee any management issues.
- Build strong supplier / client relationships across Asia, in particularly China.
- Conduct trade analysis, develop pricing strategies.
Skills / Attributes required for Manager-Fertilizer role:
- Minimum five years experience in the Physical Fertilizer / commodities space with a leading commodity trade house
- Have experience in preparing sales and purchase contracts
- Have experience in initiating and structuring new trade deals in the fertilizer and agricultural space
- Have experience sourcing raw products and commodities from the Asian markets
- Be willing to be based in Beijing
- Must be fluent in English and Mandarin, spoken and written.
