Trading Specialist recruitment
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Trade execution (UK non-UK), primarily for but not limited to:
o Equities
o Mutual Funds
o Fixed Income
o ETF’s
• Establish solid third party relationships (brokers, clients, custodians and transfer agents for example)
• Adhere to best execution policy
• Develop, document and enhance end to end process from trade instruction to settlement
• Specify, document and maintain procedures
• Confirming trades to internal and external parties
• Checking/Settlement
Requirements:
• Solid industry background in the financial sector
• Strong numeracy skills and accuracy
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience of dealing equities/fixed interest and collectives
• integrity
• Ability to accept responsibility
• Ability to work on your own as well as a team
• Ability to work under pressure
• Hit the ground running
• Understanding of regulatory environment
• Extremely detail orientated
• Work in a deadline driven environment
Qualifications/Experience:
• Preferably CF29 qualified or better
• From a financial institution background
• Large institutional trading positions
• Warehousing
• Knowledge of systems such as EMX/Calastone, Proquote (or similar) preferable
