My client, a global trading house is looking to develop a sugar trading team. They are already established in many other soft commodity fields and are looking for a head of desk to help drive the business forward and grow a team. They are seeking to hire an experienced trader with proven capability to strengthen, manage and contribute considerably to their sugar team.
Responsibilities for physical/ sugar / Germany/ trading role:
- Managing end-to-end trading flow
- Ability to manage PL.
- Ability to grow and manage a team.
- Knowledge of local customer base in ACP countries.
- Global Sugar markets knowledge is essential, the position is not restricted to just EU coverage.
Skills / Attributes required for the role:
- 15 years experience+ sugar trading.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to start ASAP is preferred.
- Import/export knowledge of the global sugar trading markets.
- Language skills are fluent English; German is preferred but not essential. Any other additional languages viewed as an advantage.
- Demonstrable capability to be pro active, Trustworthy, entrepreneurial, work in a team.
