Trading Support Analyst recruitment

The position is to provide assistance and back-up to the Trade Support Manager responsible for the team day to day tasks being completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.

Duties

The duties for this position are as follows:

• Application of credit limits to Trayport Global Vision system

• User and Company set ups

• Screen amendments

• New instruments/markets

• To ensure sufficient support cover between the hours of 7am and 7pm London time.

• Ensure the trading support team delivers efficient and courteous client support including

• Communication of new instruments/markets/changes to clients, timely where applicable

• Responsible for team members’ training and progression of knowledge and responsibility within their roles, including ensuring that the quarterly skills matrix review is performed for each member of the team.

• Ensure the skills matrix is kept up to date where new responsibility areas are covered.

• Ensuring data integration and security, documenting and maintaining processes within Trading Support responsibility areas:

• Including keeping disconnections log up to date.

• Responsible for running Trayport Global Vision systems including:

• Ensuring administrative maintenance is done on time

• Testing and upgrading to new versions where applicable after discussions with the Operations and Market Analysis and Trading Systems Manager

• Ensure Trayport Gold mapping is set up to date with latest instruments

• Ensuring clearing links are kept up to date

• Responsible for “internal” market data

• Ensuring different market data reports go out accurately and on time.

• Any other general day to day maintenance in relation to internal market data.

• Experience with Energy markets

• In-depth knowledge of Trayport Global Vision

• Problem solving and analytical skills

• Experience in managing, leading and developing a team

• MS Office skills

• A meticulous eye for detail
