Trading system support specialist recruitment
The technical trading system specialist will support and maintain the production trading platform. The environment is a high performance one and therefore immediate awareness of and reaction to systems issues is essential. The team are soley responsible for overseeing the internal systems and all connections with external markets.
Responsibilities include ensuring smooth morning startup and evening shutdown, responding to external market alerts and outages while constantly interfacing with exchanges to support trading.

Technical Skills / Background:
- Perl, shell scripting
- Strong UNIX skills
- FIX
- C++ programming
- Industry experience (algo or electronic trading experience preferred)
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to debug and analyze problems quickly and effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Quantitative Skills
- Ability to work independently and in a very fast-paced, high pressure environment
