Trading Systems Analyst – Fund Manager
My client is a world-leading alternative investment management business. It has expertise in a wide range of liquid investment styles including managed futures, equity, credit and convertibles, emerging markets, global macro and multi-manager, combined with powerful product structuring, distribution and client service capabilities. The successful applicant will be joining the front office team in a busy and exciting environment based in London. Responsibilities:
· Support the AHL Trade Execution desk ensuring efficient operation of the AHL Trading System.
· Provide exemplary client service to key stakeholders including: AHL Execution Desk, AHL Research, AHL Technology Teams.
· Quality assurance of intraday market data, which is critical to real-time trading signal generation.
· Strict adherence to change control management procedures.
· Testing software upgrades and new applications on the trading system.
· Close interaction with traders to ensure timely and accurate execution of trades.
· Work on a shift basis in order to support the European and United States time zones.
Requirements:
· Strong programming and scripting skills in SQL/Unix and general IT competency.
· Understanding of financial instruments and how they are traded.
· A meticulously accurate approach to data entry and data checking is necessary.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
· The ability to work well in a business facing, client driven environment while utilising strong technical skills.
