Trading Systems Developer
Full Job Description
My Client is looking for a software development professional that has a clear track record of productive contributions to the delivery of successful custom development projects dealing with trading systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
*Work with the business users (traders and portfolio managers) to design, develop, and implement technical and functional solutions for trading processes, including proprietary software development, third party product integration, product customization, enhancements, defect resolution, version upgrades, and reporting.
*Work as part of a team of in-house staff and outside consultants to implement the required changes to a third party trading system
*Participate in application requirement sessions with business users and technical staff
*Coordinate/execute QA test plans before releasing product enhancements for user testing
Desired Skills and Experience:
*5 years C# .NET development experience
*3-5 yrs development experience in MSFT SQL Server 2008
*Experience with WCF, WPF, LINQ, XML, and MSMQ a plus
*Understanding of Order Management and Execution Management Systems
*Understanding of the FIX Protocol
*Understanding of various securities such as Equities, Options, Futures, FX, Bonds, etc…
*Understanding of the investment management business
