Trading Systems Front Office Application Support Global Electronic Trading Firm recruitment
The Support Team sits on the trading floor physically next to the trading business and support to a range of highly sophisticated trading systems. The firm are very successful and growing globally. Due to the extremely close proximity of these roles to the business you will gain an exceptionally high level understanding of Equities trading. You will also gain exposure to a variety of projects related to system upgrades and rollouts working with global project teams.
The team are friendly and high energy and support each other to resolve any technical issues. Because you are sat with the business you will be able to develop a strong relationship with them. This is a technical role requiring you to write Unix shell scripts to automate tasks like batches and systems monitoring.
Skills required:
- Trading Systems Support experience
- Unix / Sybase
- Unix Shell Scripting
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and react under pressure
