Our client, a globally established trading house is looking to expand their physical wheat trading platform. They are looking for a general manager to help build out a strong platform there. With influence and recognition throughout the commodities markets, they are looking to strengthen their wheat trading team. They are seeking to hire a very experienced trader with proven experience to strengthen and build out their soft commodity trading team.
Responsibilities for the senior wheat trading role:
• Heading up an expanding physical grain trading team within a globally successful company
• Deepening knowledge of the soft commodity markets
• Build, maintain and develop a strong client base in across in Brazil, Argentina and other South American markets
• Role could expand to manage multiple countries
Skills - Attributes required for the role:
• 6+ years experience of the physical grains trading space.
• Strong Relationships in the market
• Portuguese speaking
• Be willing to be based in Sao Paulo
• Be able to head up a wheat trading desk in Brazil
