Trainee Fund Manager
The person appointed will be trained to assist the firm's UK equities fund manager and to a lesser extent the European equities fund manager in the analysis and selection of stocks and will also be responsible for the efficient management of the cash portfolio. Duties will include company and sector research, liaison with stockbrokers and the preparation of economic statistics and market and company reports.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate an excellent academic record and possess strong numerate, computing and communication skills. They must also be prepared to study for the IMC and CFA qualifications, be committed to developing a career in investment management and comfortable working in a small team.
