FX Sales Internship
Summary
Supporting the Derivative Sales desk covering FI Corporate clients by assisting in daily tasks pertaining to marketing and strategy.
Main responsibilities
As Admin Assistant
- Assist Corporate Derivatives COO Sales Management team including
- Follow-up NBI : Provide clear mapping of NBI across the region, team, perimeter …
- Follow-up Risk : MtM, build tactical solution to highlight the highest MTM on weekly basis
- Maintanance of files/statistics/data in appropriate folders
- Follow-up the Sales assistant KYC and MIFID requests
- Assist the COO Sales Management team in their admin duties
- Help in client event organizations
- Perform permanent supervision controls.
- Develop and maintain : reporting tools / Team Dashboard arround :
- Follow-up of client visit
- Follow-up of NBI
- Deal Pipeline
- Action plan …
- Manage all needed extract from corporate tools.
- Generate team dashboard on weekly basis (+ check quality of data ).
As Sales Assistant
- Preparing proposals for clients
- Indicative pricing for clients
- Research on markets and clients
- Preparing credit requests
- Maintanence of files/statistics/data in appropriate folders
- Handling KYC and MIFID requests
- Assisting the team in research and modeling related to any deals they are involved in
- Assist the team in their administrative duties
- Create a bridge between COO office/Secretaries for expenses, etc.
- Keeping track of and participating conference calls, meetings and taking/circulating necessary minutes
- Helping organise client events
- Other ad-hoc tasks may be assigned as necessary
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education
- Studied at a top University in a related discipline. Outstanding candidates with an unrelated educational background will be considered on an individual basis.
Past experience
- Previous experience in banking or related position would be a distinct advantage
- Exposure to Derivative products is a plus
- Marketing orientation/focus is a plus
Languages
- Fluent English
- Fluent French
Technical skills
- Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (excellent PowerPoint skills required)
- Strong skills in VBA on Excel.
