To support the growth of the business, we are now seeking to recruit a Trainee National Account Manager to join our existing team.

The Role -

As a Trainee Account Manager you will be responsible for –

•Supporting the Sales team in developing profitable business to business relationships.

•Preparing presentations / samples for customer meetings.

•Assisting customers with the forecasting of both stock and sales.

•Preparing orders and tracking the details of those orders.

•Competitively shopping retails current ranges via store visits and company catalogues.

•Building strong internal and external relationships.

•To keep the business updated with current market information.

•Having a solid understanding of products.

•The administrative upkeep of customer files and sales team diary.

•Attending internal meetings with / on behalf of the sales team.

•Collating the monthly board information and a weekly bulletin for the Deputy CEO.

•Travelling as required with the team and alone if necessary (to include a yearly trip to the Koln fair alongside the sales team)

The Person -

The ideal candidate will come from a business to business background or have retail manager background with the ability to demonstrate a strong sales drive.

Reflecting our fast moving brand, you will be self motivated, determined and resilient with a clear passion for Mamas and Papas brand and products. You will possess the ability to work on your own initiative and also as part of a busy sales team with a personality that can build strong working relationships. Highly numerate and literate your attention to detail will be crucial to this role, alongside commercial awareness with the talent to drive the business sales forward.

This role will involve travelling and a full clean driving licence would be preferable.
