Trainee – Sales Analyst (12 months) [Ref: Structured products sales assistant – KM] recruitment
Main Responsibilities:
• Product knowledge at the level of the structure for Lyxor Funds and Retail notes (i.e. different options payouts and SG’s structures / products) and the underlying in order to explain to clients product features and factors that affect secondary pricing movement
• Involvement in the sales follow-up tasks for different retail banks in Hong Kong, including taking client feedbacks to enhance product development and providing product performance update
• Product knowledge of Lyxor Retail Funds, and SG Notes at the level of the structure (i.e. different options payouts and SG’s structures / products) and the underlying in order to explain to clients product features and factors that affect secondary pricing movement
• Handling the end-investors enquiries through the SG/ Lyxor Hotline
• Quality of sales support and operations of Lyxor Funds business, including liaising with RBC Dexia Services, follow-up of distribution agreements
• Quality of the offering documents and activities, in particular the accuracy of the information sent to client and the avoidance of misrepresentation
• Quality of the primary market deals in order to ensure a smooth completion of deals with involvement from the stage of producing product documents to the sending of the final deal confirmation and settlement
• Provide sales supports to sales for HK Institutional clients business, if needed
Requirements:
• Degree Qualified
• Other professional qualification preferably
• Strong working capacity, in particular when under pressure
• Ability to manage complex accounts and manage multiple level sale relationships
• Familiarisation with SG policies, procedures and methodologies
• Strong working relationships with SG’s engineering team and other sales team, in particular in Hong Kong
• Good understanding of structured products and the retail market in Hong Kong
• Fluency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin a plus. Chinese Typing is mandatory
• Advanced verbal, written and persuasion skills
