Trainer and Project Manager

One of our clients, a large bank with locations in Manhattan as well as Stamford, Connecticut, requires a long-term temporary trainer and project manager to handle training of recent college graduates recruited to assist in Investment Banking Operations. The position would be based out of Manhattan but requires flexibility to work around one week out of the month in Stamford. Primary Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Program Management, Design Consultancy -- Act as the primary contact for all incoming campus hires attending training and their managers for work modules. -- Drafting distributing communications and onboarding information as well as responding to queries and monitoring pre-work requirements. -- Partnering with and driving the necessary communication between business area stakeholders, HR, recruiters, external vendors, and internal trainers -- Advising the business on best practices and recommendations for these core training programs and ongoing graduate development -- Working with and manage external vendors to source training and development solutions and activities. Project Management -- Project managing and executing all aspects of planning programs/events -- Working with the regional training team as well as proactively identify (and problem solve) what specific planning requirements exist for the upcoming program Delivery -- Supporting the delivery of firm-wide early career development offerings in the U.S. acting in roles such as an emcee and/or facilitator -- Monitoring classroom quality and adapting to adhoc changes in design and delivery requirements in the moment Working hours: Standard Business Hours Capabilities Required: -- Team-oriented individual contributor who can accomplish work in partnership with colleagues or independently as the situation requires. -- Excellent project/process management skills -- Ability to manage a large group of college graduates -- Comfortable managing complex/ large scale logistics and contingency planning -- Ability to work effectively with multiple deliverables, deadlines and stakeholders -- Comfortable making decisions -- Able to communicate with staff at all levels -- Strong communication and interpersonal skills Minimum Requirements: -- Four year bachelor's degree -- 5-7 years experience with project/process management -- 3-5 years experience in a onsite program management capacity --2-3 years experience in a training function/capacity Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
