More about the opportunity
Our 12-month full time paid training program starts with 10 weeks of intensive learning and development in Sydney. After this, you’ll head back to your home state for nine months of ‘on the job’ training as a financial planner in an AMP Horizons Practice. You’ll be supported by experienced financial planners who’ll mentor on how to be successful in this exciting – and growing – industry.
It’s rewarding work. You’ll build long-lasting, trusted relationships with your clients, making a genuine difference to their lives via the provision of quality financial advice. During your ‘professional year’ you’ll receive a great salary of $50,000 per annum plus 11% superannuation.
What are we looking for?
An entrepreneurial spirit, personal motivation and an ambition to succeed. Most importantly, a genuine passion for helping clients to achieve their financial goals. In addition:
- An interest in the finance industry
- Common sense in financial matters, such as budgeting
- Excellent people skills demonstrated via previous work experience
- driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Australia
