Training Consultant/Senior Training Consultant Position Summary: The Cash Product Office has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Training Consultant. In this role you will lead the coordination, development and selection of training programs for nationally deployed automation applications. In addition, you will be responsible for the planning, administration and evaluation of training curriculum; coordinate training efforts in collaboration with other Bank or Federal Reserve System (FRS) staff and internal and external training vendors; and responsible for business line training programs and training outcomes. Highlights of Responsibilities: Function as the central contact for business line training programs and determine the training needs for nationally deployed automation applications. Design and develop on-line and instructor-led courseware, instructional aids, and on-the-job learning activities Partner with line staff on the development of training on specific product plans, systems and processes. Lead training teams without direct supervisory responsibility Present training to FRS staff including lower level executives Prepare the learning environment and resources, including setting up automation and equipment where appropriate Expertly and effectively deliver training programs in both a formal (e.g. a classroom) or informal setting (e.g. remote via automation) Develop pre and post learning event measurement tools to assess effectiveness and impact of learning solutions Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and learning outcomes Solicit feedback from business line stakeholders and trainees on recommendations for improvement and implements modifications as necessary Evaluate training materials, curriculum and delivery strategy for consistency and to ensure training program meets business line needs Manage large projects from initial analysis though post-project evaluation Mentor, coach and develop other training personnel Bachelor's degree 4+ years of work experience as a trainer/ lead trainer to include instructor-led and on-line experience Strong experience in design, development and implementation of training plans and curriculum Strong communication skills, oral, written, and presentation; interpersonal skills to include influence and negotiation Demonstrated project / program management experience at the Project Manager level Knowledge of complex and diversified procedures, practices, and policies such as those used in the training discipline: building training plans, curriculum and e-learning Specialized, technical skills to understand automated training environments or understand the process for designing and building electronic learning modules for self paced e-learning Microsoft Office Suite Desired Skills: MS Project Cash Business Line Experience Proficiency with creating electronic learning modules Note: This position requires travel throughout the Federal Reserve System on behalf of the national Cash Product Office.
