- Supports course deployments and logistics, working closely with training managers.
- Provides technical support for virtual training offerings.
- Provides field support by responding to telephone requests for schedules, catalogs, forms, etc.
- Helps to maintain current and accurate course information in standard databases and other communication vehicles.
- Assists in the analysis of training programs and tools to identify the most appropriate, effective, and competitive options for the organization.
- Assists in maintaining efficient and effective development and learning processes for the organization.
- Assists managers with other administrative duties such as processing of course evaluations, articles for newsletters, as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Three or more years of administrative or training support experience
- Experience working with training and development principles, practices, procedures, and tools
- Experience working with standard training and development information systems
Other Qualifications
- Basic interpersonal skills for interacting with employees and third-party training vendors
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Good personal computer and business solution software skills
- Good problem-solving skills to assist course participants with technical issues related to virtual training delivery tools (e.g. SameTime)
- Basic organization and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
