Job Title:
Training Development Associate
Job Purpose: To support the creation of a variety of system training solutions. Including, CBT, LMS, virtual training, and training documentation.
Job Duties:
· Update and maintain course materials/tools to align with the company’s policies, procedures and strategic initiatives. Recommend revisions as identified.
· Support tactical planning activities. Provide input during storyboarding and planning processes. Provide input for projects and assignments in your area of responsibility.
· Create, maintain and deliver training materials via various mediums including CBT applications.
· Execute the estabilished training and communications plans.
· Support requirements gathering/documentation, testing and deployment activities in support of projects
· Ensures course material is instructionally sound and supports the intended learning objectives.
· Develops partnerships and works collaboratively with SMEs during analysis, design and development to produce quality training materials within established timeframes.
· Maintains processes to ensure adherence to the instructional design process that produce effective, quality training materials in an efficient manner.
· Other duties as assigned.

Communication Skills:
· Strong verbal skills in tandem with writing and editing skills
· Listen attentively when others communicate. Able to facilitate the exchange of ideas and information with others at all levels within the organization.

· Strong demonstrated experience with formal presentation development and delivery.
Interpersonal Skills:
· Must collaborate well with others (i.e.: Subject Matter Experts).
· Ability to perform under limited supervision and both independently as well as in a team environment.
· Maintain effectiveness during rapidly changing assignments or priorities; able to maintain poise under pressure.
Detail and Creativity Skills:
· Check own to ensure it is complete and error free.
· Check to ensure that all information/data is accurate.
· Take actions to “tie up" all loose ends.
· Identify and use cause / effect relationships when problem solving.
· Experience applying cognitive learning theory to the development of instructional objectives and adult learning methodologies.
Technical Skills:
· Strong e-learning content/storyboarding development experience, including: web-based training, simulation development, interactive video, gaming, and collaborative/social learning design/development expertise.
· Experience writing user manuals to an end-user (learner) audience
· Expert in MS Office applications, primarily: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
· Experience with Adobe Captivate preferred
· Experience, FLASH; some knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
· Experience using multi-media technology to enhance training / learning experiences.
