Experience with all phases of fighter aircraft maintenance on the F35 Joint Strike Fighter and the F16 Fighting Falcon. This experience will include operation and maintenance of aerospace ground and support equipment; F35 jet engine maintenance, removal, and installation; F35 STOVL Variant lift-fan and driveshaft installation, removal, and maintenance; F35 Hydraulic systems, F35 Landing Gear system, F35 Engine Fire Suppression System; and, F16 and F35 aircraft marshalling, towing, egress system safety, and aircraft jacking and hoisting.
Candidate will provide both classroom and hands-on training on the F35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) and F16 fighter. This may include all phases of training including analysis of training needs and requirements, courseware development, content delivery, and assessment of student learning and performance. Candidate must be able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints used for aircraft manufacture, Aeronautic Engineering Instructions (AEI's), and successfully interface with design engineers to incorporate critical information into course materials.
The following comment is not targeted at any specific salary grade level. The successful applicant will be compensated based on market rates and internal equity for the work to be performed. The successful internal applicant may be transferred laterally (the same salary grade) with or without a change in compensation or may be promoted into a higher salary grade with or without an upward adjustment in compensation.
Maintenance training experience with the F35 Joint Strike Fighter. Prior military with civil work experience is preferred, as this is a technical effort supporting unique training requirements with the aircraft undergoing concurrent flight testing and limited rate initial production. Experience with multiple variants of the F35 Joint Strike Fighter and unique manufacturing and flight test requirements represented by each. More than 10 years of prior maintenance training experience. Knowledge and experience with Learning Management Systems and Learning Content Management Systems as well as experience with multiple modalities including virtual delivery is a beneficial.
