Summary

The ATREP operator delivers Initial Homestation Instrumentation Training System (I-HITS) capabilities connecting various training range assets throughout Alaska, including the Battle Command Training Centers, the Digital Multi-Purpose Training Ranges and Battle Area Complex CACTF. This position supports Army, joint and coalition components for ground and air-to-ground live training in live, virtual and constructive domains.  This position also provides support to the real-time monitoring, tracking, data collecting, processing operations data, and provide analyst functions in support of exercises using the I-HITS system.

Experience Requirements

3 - 5 years working or instructing in an operational and maintenance professional environment of the same or similar equipments. Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course (ANCOC)/Battle Staff course.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. In lieu of degree a minimum of 4 years similar work experience.

Special Requirements

Must have valid driver’s license, insurance and maintain military base driving privileges.  Obtain Military licenses certification if required.  Must be a U.S. Citizen and must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.  Willing to work any shift to include weekends and holidays. U.S.A  issued passport for travel out of country.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.  Speak, read, and write in the English language.  Vision will be 20-20 with correction as necessary, no color blindness.  Ability to speak clearly and hear.  Perform generic office computer applications (i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, and databases).  Typically will have full dexterity of limbs to feel, reach, sit, kneel, stand, crawl under raised computer flooring, or climb on small stepladders not to exceed 10 feet.
