Training Lead & HBEU Advisors Design

The role chiefly centres around (1) analysing, designing and implementing CDD/compliance training for regional and local teams globally and (2) leading requirements gathering and other initiatives for European deployments outside of the UK.

 

Responsibilities and accountabilities include;

• Compliance analysis of training needs (compliance, COBAM, business) for customer due diligence (and related financial crime controls) on a global basis.

• Provide support to European sites with planning, scoping and executing local requirements gathering exercises and in implementing the global design in these sites.

• Develop and manage a global compliance communications plan to ensure full engagement of stakeholders.

 

Requirements include;

• A good understanding of JMLSG (or similar) and KYC Requirements and a broad understanding of financial crime risk concepts.

• Proven project management skills.

• Experience of training initiatives through all stages of the development process.

• Experience of compliance- or regulatory risk-related projects.

• AML Advisory experience highly desirable, preferably gained within HSBC or one of its peers.

• An understanding of Global Banking and Markets related products.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

• Ability to work under pressure and within tight time-lines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
