Job Description

 Kenexa’s Training Manager is responsible for partnering with internal business unit managers and the HR team for the delivery, design, development, implementation and maintenance of engaging effective internal customer and corporate training programs in both classroom and e-Learning environments. He/She will manage the design and development of curriculum and other support materials. He /She will manage a team of 3-5 individuals to support our internal business units and corporate training programs. Will work with functional experts to support and develop programs that achieve the defined learning and business objectives. Ensures all learning programs incorporate adult learning principles. Must have the ability to deliver instructor led classroom sessions as well as develop effective content.

Ideally this candidate will be based near Wayne, PA or Lincoln, NE

 Responsibilities:

·        Manage and maintain training curriculum and deliver monthly/quarterly project plan updates in accordance with ongoing business and corporate programs

·        Follows instructional design methodology standards in the design and development of effective curriculum that meets Kenexa’s business and corporate objectives

·        Recommend solutions for performance issues and potential areas of training

·        Manage, lead, motivate and develop Training team members

·        Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of curriculum by deploying measurement and feedback tools that track outcomes and ensure alignment to corporate and business objectives

·        Ability to present to senior management and leadership audience

  External requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in Human Resources, Adult Education, or related field; or 5-8 years of experience in customer or corporate training

·        Previous experience in developing training materials or coursework

·        Experience working with Articulate and Captivate

·        Experience in e-Learning and traditional instructor led training

·        Experience and demonstrated ability in instructional systems design processes, such as needs assessments and analyses, design, development and evaluation is a plus

·        The ability to solve problems independently while working in a fast paced, energetic environment

·        Strong communication skills, (oral and writing skills), in addition to proven abilities as a facilitator / instructor

·        Self-motivated, able to work in a team and manage others
