Training Specialist

Training specialist to support Operations Training team with evidence of ability to demonstrate the following skills and expertise: * Training development and delivery support * Conducting needs assessment and aggregate reports for manager * Facilitating breakout sessions within established curriculum * Updating training materials with manager oversight * Collecting, assimilating, and accurately reporting training performance data * Maintaining distribution databases * Creating internal associate communication materials with guidance Apply these skills and experience to: * Support all training team members in classroom and online delivery of curriculum * Manage training calendars and agendas * Manage training logistics (room scheduling, materials, meals, external resources) * Manage creation and fulfillment of training manuals and materials (external print vendors, online toolkits, training announcement distribution, etc.) * Contribute significantly to "Learning Week," including planning, curriculum recommendations, class and event creation (creation of marketing materials and vehicles, and logistics, including scheduling/tracking instructors, setup and scheduling for rooms and events, materials maintenance, and remote arrangements.) Basic Qualifications: * Undergraduate degree in related field or demonstrated equivalent experience * Experience and knowledge in the discipline of training (needs assessment, module and curriculum design, delivery, evaluation and measurement) * Minimum 2 years business experience; understanding of business metrics and drivers * Excellent communication skills and personal presentation; ability to interact with all levels of the business organization and with a diverse range of business clients * Strong project management and organizational skills; strong detail orientation * Ability to work both autonomously in a fast-paced environment and to work well within a structured team environment. * Proficiency in MS office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Preferred Candidate Qualifications * Exposure to professional training environment * Exposure to mortgage industry or related business * Current knowledge of and exposure to training industry trends - particularly distance learning * Proficiency in or ability to learn curriculum development tools such as Articulate and Captivate and management tools such as MS Project and Access * Proficiency in or ability to learn/support desktop publishing application(s) such as MS Publisher * Ability and desire to develop classroom training delivery skills
