Tranfer Pricing Manager/Senior Manager
The Tax department in Belgium has approx. 350 employees in Business/Corporate Tax, Human Capital, Indirect Tax (VAT, customs and excises), International Tax (including TP) and Transactional Tax
Due to growth, the Tax Department is currently looking for a Manager /Senior Manager Transfer princig in order to support our growth in Belgium and Luxembourg.
You will provide a fully integrated approach to transfer pricing, preparing documentation, defending transfer pricing in audits, and developing tax planning approaches.
They are currently seeking candidates for a career at Manager/Senior Manager level to participate in and supervise multiple and challenging transfer pricing engagements and to contribute to the delivery of quality tax planning services for their diverse clients. Manager/Senior Managers in transfer pricing demonstrate an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts and develop economic and financial project strategies
Tasks responsibilities:
- Scope projects, plan and manages complex assignments within budget
- Develop and deliver quality transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely and responsive services and work products
- Develop client relationships with existing and new clients
- dentify transfer pricing opportunities
- Prepare documentation, participate in negotiating advanced pricing agreements (APAs), defend transfer pricing in audits
- Lead in the valuation of intangible assets, and develop quality, practical planning services; thoroughly and accurately analyze information
- Lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans
- Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's economic situation, arrive at logical conclusions and lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans;
- Demonstrates practice management skills and ensure quality control of work product
People responsibilities:
- Help people to develop through the effective conveyance of tax knowledge and experience by supervision, coaching and mentoring
- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
- Contribute to people initiatives, including recruitment, retention and training
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
- We are looking for candidates with the following background:
- Master’s degree in economics potentially with a supplementary degree in fiscal matters
- At least 5 - 12 years of relevant experience in Transfer pricing tax matters in a consulting environment
- Market and client focused
- Team player with sound communication skills
- Good project management skills
