The Role:
Responsible for the operational integrity of transaction reporting for State Street Global Markets (SSGM) EMEA and UK Treasury. Carry out any business analysis related activities in the Transaction Reporting Team, ranging from addressing issues, review of change items potentially impacting the reporting, to involvement in the strategic development of the transaction reporting system.

Job Summary/Description:
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the firm's transaction reporting obligations; monitors, controls and completes quality assurance checks on the integrity of Global Markets transaction reporting. Ensures the daily transaction reporting is submitted in accordance with the FCA reporting deadline;
- Identify improvements in BAU control processes and enhancements to technology infrastructure, monitor remediation action plans and co-ordinate any Regulatory Reporting related project work
- Maintain contact across several change management teams to proactively detect and assess impacts to transaction reporting of new business items and work with Compliance for new regulatory rules or rule changes
- Monitor systems of control and escalation procedures so that the firm complies with its transaction reporting obligations;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders including Global Markets business lines, Compliance, Operations and IT. Provides regular updates on transaction reporting activities (realized and scheduled). Proactively communicates and documents any issues arising including steps taken to remediate and resolve problems;
- Monitors and engages in business process and system change impacting EMEA transaction reporting as a result of regulatory change and or new products. Ensure that new product approvals that impact transaction reporting are tested prior to production changes;
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in transaction reporting matters and developments for the firm;
- Support the audit of the EMEA transaction reporting process.
- Supports other regulatory and business reporting requirements such as trade reporting to BOAT and other requirements from time to time.
- Be flexible in contributing to other activities in the team when necessary
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A solid understanding of the full trading lifecycle – Equities, Fixed Income Futures – 2 out of the 3 from an Operational point of view.
- FX and OTC Derivatives trade lifecycle experience – nice to have but not essential
- Must have an understanding of Middle/Back office operations
- An understanding of regulatory reporting (e.g. MiFID EMIR) would be beneficial
- Candidate can come from an Operations background with experience in working with large quantities of data, spot checking this data or finding anomalies within the data.
Required System experience:
Bloom berg, Fidessa would be good to have
