An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Internal Corporate Treasury function of this global top tier retail bank based in London within their Transaction Support team.
As a Manager within Transaction Support you will assist the corporate treasury function with structured transactions and debt issuance in order to build a strategy to facilitate transactions in the most cost effective manner possible.
Critical to the role will be your ability to build relationships within the various teams in order to effectively execute transactions. Further to this, working systems knowledge is required to effect any necessary changes when designing an effective booking strategy but also in order to manage relevant ‘book-codes’ and strategic client specific data. In addition to this, there will be a requirement for standard post execution deal booking reviews to assess effectiveness of existing strategy.
Expected of a manager within Transaction Support is knowledge of accounting and operational requirements for capital instruments across a background of front or middle office systems. Preferable would be a knowledge of Summit or similar relevant derivatives / structured products software. In order to effectively build relationships within the business this position requires an individual with genuine clarity of communication coupled with a willingness to further develop their own skill set and set industry relevant exams as and when required.
