We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Transaction Manager, Commodity Structured Trade Finance (CSTF). Reporting to the Head of Transactional Management Unit (TMU), you will drive the operational delivery of the CSTF TMU risk model and Collateral Management System within Australia.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- On-going transactional and collateral management, including daily client position and facility monitoring, client liaison and problem resolution and assisting in the preparation and execution of CSTF facility documentation;
- Assisting the Australia TMU Head with the establishment of local procedures and framework;
- Driving the delivery of a robust TMU operational infrastructure and reporting;
- Identifying and developing best practice systems and processes for TMU functions;
- Providing advice and guidance to other members of the TMU and to both clients and stakeholders;
- Assisting in the testing and implantation of new TMU related systems;
- Maintaining a high degree of commodity market knowledge relating to both domestic and international activities.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will need:
- The Higher School Certificate or equivalent, with tertiary qualifications highly regarded;
- A minimum of five years relevant commodity and trade related banking or sector experience;
- In-depth knowledge of CSTF products, risk, mitigants, and customers;
- In-depth knowledge of best practice CSTF operational delivery systems and processes;
- A strong understanding of the marketplace and issues likely to impact on effective delivery and/or risk management, as well as on customer satisfaction and revenues;
- A sound understanding of Excel and practical experience at macro level;
- High attention to detail, with a disciplined approach and the ability to operate in a deadline driven environment.
