JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary
This role is based in Naas.
To manage the Transfer Agency process, team resources and client relationships. Individuals have an understanding of service requirements, processes, and procedures for fund administration. Managers assist in the development and delivery of training course and participate in the recruitment process. Individuals have considerable technical knowledge of the hedge fund industry. Individuals typically manage a total staff of 5-10 employees.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and develop client relationships to ensure effective and professional communication
- Manage the monthly subscriptions/redemptions processing
- Review of monthly activity
- Initial document review
- Review systems requirements of the team / client and work with ISS team on developments.
- Manage month end deadlines
- Ensure team adhere to internal controls and procedures
- Co-ordinate and assist with annual audit where necessary
- Manage and complete client initialization and transition
- Manage team resources, performance and career development
Knowledge, Skills Experience Required
- Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business related area (minimum 2.2 honors degree)
- Minimum 4 years in a senior capacity within Fund Administration (some hedge fund experience is necessary)
- Excellent administrative, organisational and business support skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written verbal communication skills
- Possess excellent organisational, planning and co-ordination skills.
- Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
- Proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team
