This is a role within a team of 8 reporting to the team managerr. The successful candidate will have responsibility for certain daily tasks within the team and will be expected to assist with adhoc initiatives resulting from internal and external requests. The team's main responsibilities are providing shareholder servicing and completing the good order review on shareholder instructions for a number of TA clients.

This role is for the Evening Shift team within the Citi Fund Services Transfer Agency in Dublin. The team is responsible for providing shareholder servicing to a number of key Transfer Agency clients who trade up to the close of the NYSE. This includes handling all incoming and outgoing correspondence with shareholders and the good order review of all shareholder instructions - trades, account opening, account maintenance and transfers. The team is also responsible for providing shareholder trade activity reporting to the Fund Managers and for placing a daily FX deal to convert cash movements for shareholder trading to and from the fund. The team also acts as the primary contact for the Transfer Agency clients outside standard business hours.

The main responsibilities of the role include: • Good order review of financial and non financial instructions received from shareholders and distributors
• Independent review of financial and non financial instructions prepared by more junior team members
• Preparation and distribution of reports to clients in accordance with client requirements.
• Support of client telephone lines and dedicated e-mail boxes and ability to answer queries in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
• Assist more junior team members with complex queries
• Investigation and timely, accurate and professional resolution of queries and requests received by fax and post.
• Investigation and resolution of reconciliation items identified on the TA shareholder bank accounts.
• Display a good knowledge of all core TA functions and of functions completed outside of TA e.g. Fund Accounting, AML
• Display a good knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to Funds domiciled in Ireland

The position will also help the candidate to enhance their knowledge of the clients supported in TA in Citi and their overall knowledge of the industry.
The candidate should ideally have a minimum of two years experience within TA.

The ideal candidate will have experience within an Investor Services team or in a similar client facing role within the Financial Services sector.
The candidate should have a good working knowledge of Excel, Access, Word and Outlook.

Fluency in a second foreign language, in addition to English would be beneficial.
Candidates should ideally be educated to 3rd level and have completed the Certificate in Mutual Funds or the Citi Certificate in Applied Financial Services.

Candidates who do not meet this criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
