Transfers Administrator Job in Chelmsford CM1 1HL, Home Counties UK

A Leading Fund Platform requires a Transfers Administrator to work within our Chelmsford Office. Salary up to £19,000 + benefits.

Role Purpose

The role will provide a re-registration service to all Institutional clients.

Functional Areas and Responsibilities

Become familiar with all Institutional clients and Fund Managers
Manage process for all transfers in from existing clients
Manage process for all transfer outs from existing clients
Ensure any rejections are logged and analysed to reduce further rejections
Manage AWD queues within SLAs
Answering client transfer queries by both telephone/email and letter
To become familiar with STP (straight through processing) dealing and failover procedures
The ability to act professionally and accurately when under pressure during system downtimes
Chase all outstanding transfer in/out items over 14 days
Ability to analyse and resolve outstanding stock differences in BIRT relating to transfer in/outs
Complete self-certificate
To help write/update existing and new procedures
Must be diverse and flexible individual who embraces change
Ensure risks are identified and escalated to management where required
Understand Cofunds responsibilities in regard to Treating customers fairly

Qualifications

Experience

The role holder will ideally have proven experience in an operational team in a high volume environment. Ideally this will be in the unit trust OEIC products but similiar experience in other security products will be advantageous to ensure that this section complies with anti-discrimination legislation
