Summary of Main Responsibilities
The development of TM services in the Asia-ex region continues to evolve as clients are maturing in sophistication with a knock on impact in their investment behavior and requirements for services. To ensure JPMorgan remains at the forefront of these developments in a complex geography, the TM business development manager will be responsible for driving, implementing and executing the strategy for TM services in the Asia-ex region.
Reporting to the Trading Services regional client and sales exec, the TM business development manager will have overall responsibility for TM services in the region including market development, sales, revenue and profitability growth. Specifically, the individual will be accountable for:
Strategy
- Defining the strategic product development needs for TM services taking into account market dynamics, client behavior, existing JPMorgan capability and competitive landscape.
- Syndicating these along with business and financial rationale with the global product heads and internal partners for buy in.
- Formulating an execution plan and timeline for delivery the strategy with the financial impact plans.
Market Product Management
- Managing the delivery of product capabilities for Asia-ex in partnership with global product leads and regional partners including completing of new business/product approval processes and sign offs.
- Identifying target markets and client segments for TM services.
- Managing the PL optimization of TM in the region.
- Providing end to end oversight of TM business needs in the region.
Sales Marketing
- Providing product sales support for TM opportunities in the Asia-ex region
- Generate thought leadership material for distribution to media and clients
- Developing marketing strategies in partnership with the marketing teams and broader WSS organisation.
Skills
- Proven track record in Transition Management Product and Client facing roles
- Ability to convert macro dynamics into ground level product development strategies
- Structured and methodical execution capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Articulate in both written verbal communication
- Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Highly competent at influencing and negotiating
- Demonstrable ability to take ownership and drive development of TM services in Asia-ex region
- English speaking with Mandarin language skills an advantage
