Transition Paraplanner recruitment
IOOF is one of Australia’s largest independent and pure providers of wealth creation product and services. IOOF operates four divisions including Financial advice and distribution, Platform Management and Administration, Investment Management, and Trustee. Within each division we promote a variety of brands including Bridges Financial Services, Consultum, Wealth Managers, Ord Minnett, Spectrum Super, Pursuit, Perennial Investment Partners Limited, IOOF MultiMix, United and Australian Executor Trustees (AET).
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Transition Paraplanner to join the Advisory Services – Distribution team on a 12 month fixed term basis. Based in Melbourne, this role will see you reporting to the Senior Paraplanner, supporting the IOOF transition department.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Senior Paraplanner with transition tasks
- Assist with the completion of transition SOA’s and the production of implementation forms
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to support an efficient and effective service offering
- Project coordination of large transition business
- Support the building of internal systems and processes
- Support the wider advisory service team with projects
To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in a similar role, combined with an industry qualification or working towards completing. You will have a though understanding of the financial planning process, experience in paraplanning and production of SOA as well as experience with Xplan financial planning. You will also have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to work autonomously and multitask.
Sound knowledge of managed funds, master trusts and wrap accounts and superannuation technical knowledge is preferable.
