Transitions Analyst recruitment
The Analyst will not be expected to be responsible for providing investment advice / asset management as defined by the FSA, but would be expected to reach this level after having gained the appropriate experience and training.
Specific duties will include:
Assisting in the planning, execution and reporting of portfolio transitions for advisory clients
Developing relationships with relevant third parties (e.g. investment managers, brokers, custodians and fund administrators)
Managing assigned client portfolios day-to-day and supporting Consulting and Client Services teams with research, client projects and meeting attendance as product specialist as required
Assisting with investment performance measurement and monitoring across all portfolios and products
Assisting members of the Investment Committees with analytical work and research which may include: regulatory frameworks, financial markets, economics, investment products and managers
Ideally, the candidate will have a good quality degree and 2-3 years industry experience, with interest in all aspects of investment management and financial markets.
Experience in transition management is essential.
Strong numeracy and Excel skills will aid the candidate as well as competency with generic Microsoft Office applications.
