Transitions Coordinator – Transfer Between Accounts recruitment

As a client driven process, the team is responsible for the successful and timely delivery of Restructure and TBA activity to a high level of client satisfaction. The incumbent must have a solid understanding of operations as a whole since the position is not specific to one product or country.

 Principal Responsibilities

•   Responsible for the timely and accurate loading of securities and cash to Fundmaster

•   Responsible for all settlement issues and outstanding issues

•   Participation in Transition planning/preparation meetings as required.

•   Participation and involvement in meetings as required by Section Manager

•   Reconcilement of clients' portfolios

•   Cash and stock reconciliations - monitoring and clearing own entries created by TBA's and Inspecie events

•   The individual must be resourceful and well organised, as any transition event will almost certainly be announced and processed within a limited timeframe

•   The ability to communicate well with various internal partners such as Client Services and Regional Operational teams, plus external parties such as Fund Managers and appointed Restructure managers.

Skills / Experience

•   A good understanding of transition and accounting processes advantageous

•   Previous back office Operations experience within a custody environment desirable but not essential

•   Excellent time management/prioritisation skills

•   Strong organisational skills and an ability to work under pressure

•   Ability to work accurately with a high level of attention to detail.

•   Excellent communication skills, (verbal and written.)

•   Team focused

•   Strong PC skills, specifically in respect of Microsoft Excel and Word.

•   Experience in a securities operations environment with strong emphasis to the life cycle of a trade desirable but not essential
