For our International IT department in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, we are looking for a highly committed translator. The department develops IT solutions for all ALDI SOUTH group locations worldwide. The main company languages are German and English. As a Translation Specialist, you will be a member of our growing team of translators.
Your responsibilities:
- Translation of IT project documentation, specifications and user manuals from German to English and vice versa.
- Creation and maintenance of an in-house ALDI terminology system.
- Ongoing optimisation of internal and external translation processes.
Your profile:
- Native speaker of English or language qualifications equivalent to near-native speaker level (CEFR level C2).
- Excellent written and oral skills in both languages.
- Experience in translating IT-related technical documents.
- Highly motivated, with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent typing skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
- Team player with a genuine commitment to the job.
Advantages:

- University degree or similar qualification.
- Knowledge of IT, logistics, finance and retail.
- Working knowledge of across translation software.
