Job Description
The Saudi Arabia based role will be responsible for expanding the Transmission and Distribution teams presence into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia itself. The role will involve making contact and then developing relationships with potential clients firstly in order to understand the market and then to be able to exploit the opportunities. The role will then involve liaison with other parts of the business in order to deliver tenders and in turn to help deliver projects. At a later stage of development you will be a key member of the management team involved in recruiting a local engineering team and then delivering projects.
Candidate Specification
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record as a senior professional within the electrical transmission industry. You will hold a minimum qualification of an engineering degree and ideally will be a Chartered engineer. You should have a background involving senior level positions within the delivery of electrical transmission schemes attained from working with a consultant, contractor or a utility. You should be able to conduct in depth technical discussions with clients as part of the business development and bid proposal process. Previous experience of working with municipal and private clients in the Gulf region and particularly Saudi Arabia would be highly advantageous.
A high level of competency in written and spoken English language is essential.
