Transmission Engineer

- Candidate must possess the knowledge to perform all aspects of transmission line design, including :
- The use of PLS-CADD and SAG10 software
- Knowledge of applicable Codes
- The ability and experience to plans, specifications for transmission line construction using judgment to access multiple factors such as cost, reliability, maintenance and client standards.
- The ability and experience to provide preliminary plans and construction estimates to clients on a timely basis
- The ability to conduct design review meetings and interact with client personnel
- The ability to travel and make site visits nationwide and interact directly with vendors, contractors and client personnel in resolving design and/or construction issues.
- Candidate must also possess the ability and passion to market their design services directly to clients and manage staff in completion of assignments
- This position requires as BSEE or BSCE from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- 7 years or more of experience with strong technical and communication skills.
- Professional Registration is required
- Ability to coordinate the work of various engineering disciplines and contractors to complete an integrated project.
- This position may require travel up to 30% of the time.
