Job Description
The main duties of the Transmission Line Specialist will include;
- Leading the development of standard designs for transmission line and cable engineering components
- Monitoring, analysing and supporting the quality of work from the design ensuring they meet client standards
- Provide technical support on transmission line design projects
- Project management - scoping, resourcing and budgeting
- Client interface and relationship management
- Driving continuous improvement in processes and methodologies to ensure best practice
The Successful Applicant
The successful Transmission Line Engineer will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Previous exposure to EPCM style Transmission projects
- Excellent communication ability to engage with key stakeholders
- Precise attention to detail coupled with the determination to progress to a senior/ management level in the future
