Transport Engineer Job in Madrid, Madrid Spain
As a transport Engineer, you will be working in the division of logistcs reporting directly to the manager of the department. Your objective will be supporting, supervision and advising logistics department.
Your main responsibilities:
- Right measurement of Non Risk / Minimum Cost.
- Technical Calculations regarding modules transportation by land, river or sea.
- Feasibility studies of Loading and unloading ports.
- Measurement of maximum envelope and weight limits –in addition to transportations teams and without transport equipment- for modules in each project.
- Support and coordination with Engineering and Construction Departments.
- Structures reinforcement calculations, lashing and securing.
- Stowage Calculations.
- Coordination and contact with Marine Quarantee Surveyors, Suppliers and Insurance Companies.
- Supervision of main shipments for loading and unloading.
- Supervision of the number of saddles, supervision of distance among saddles, supervision of lifting lugs and supervision of main shipments for loading and unloading
- Monitoring the correct execution.
