Transport Manager
Location: Lincolnshire
The Role:
Transport Manager required for leading foodservice solutions company. Due to continued success and expansion in the business, now an immediate opportunity available.
Key Duties:
- Maximise productivity, space utilization and accuracy.
- Manage fleet of vehicles and drivers.
- Deliver work load planning and volume forecasting routine schedules.
- Policies and procedure implementation.
- Produce detailed cost reporting.
- Maintain relationships with 3rd party suppliers.
- Improve financial performance and cost saving in the business.
- Analyse and deliver customer needs through effective operations.

Requirements:
- Proven track record as a Transport Manager
- Proven management experience within a medium to large distribution team
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent working knowledge of working in FMCG and fast paced distribution environment.
- Excellent knowledge of a distribution environment
- Strong grasp of industry legislation, policies and procedures.
- Excellent communicator.
- Team player.
- High standards.
Package:
Basic Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
