Transport Operations Logistics Supervisor

[Bi-lingual English/Russian]

 

Contract: Maternity Cover, Fixed Term Contract 1 year                                     

Location: London, Islington N1

 

Salary:  £21,500 per annum

                    

 

Reporting to the Sales Export manager and working closely with the export documents officer you will be responsible for the effective planning and co-ordination of the shipment of goods for export.

 

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

·         You will be the customers’ key point of contact – effective communication in English and Russian is critical to the success of this job.

·         Experience of day to day operational management, working in a transport or export management environment or similar

·         Experience of setting up and monitoring stock systems using/database/spreadsheets is vital to this post.

·         Liaising with a range of customers, agencies etc. to ensure smooth efficient services

·         Provide remote logistical support outside of office hours

·         Undertake occasional travel for work within the UK/Europe A team and customer focused, result orientated attitude is a must
