Transportation Analyst

UGL Services Unicco Operations has an immediate opening for a Transportation Analyst at our customer’s facility in Avon Lake, Ohio.
The successful candidate will have a transportation operation background and experience in all phases of shipping.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Manages day to day operations of customer’s bulk truck, rail, small parcel and freight payment operations. This includes monitoring railcars, troubleshooting bulk truck issues, and fleet sizing for customer’s rail fleet.
Maintains bulk truck and rail contracts.
Provides transportation pricing to customer’s logistics team.
May be assigned various projects as designated by our customer’s logistics managers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field with 3 – 5 years experience in the transportation industry.
Strong written and oral communication skills a must.
Proficiency with various computer programs including Microsoft Office. SAP experience preferred but not required.
