USA Truck, Inc. has 2 operating segments: Asset Truckload with a fleet of 2400+ trucks and SCS (Strategic Capacity Solutions) which includes freight brokerage and intermodal services. The Sacramento office is experiencing significant growth and is looking to add Account Managers (broker) and Carrier Sales Representative positions.

Job Description

As an Account Manager at USA Truck you will focus on managing an individual portfolio of accounts, helping transition new accounts and growing existing accounts while working in a team environment. Carrier Sales Representatives will manage a portfolio of 25-30 3rd party carriers, be aware of their network needs and will use these relationships to develop and grow new business and accounts. Both positions include a combination of inside sales, account management and operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

 

-Grow and Maintain Positive Relationships with External and Internal Customers

-Continue and Expand Business with Existing Accounts
-Heavy Price and Service Negotiation with Customers and Carriers
-Develop and Maintain Carrier Portfolio According to Carrier Selection Criteria
-Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously with a Sense of Urgency

-Maintain and Update Accurate Information in Company Operating Systems
