Job Description Transportation Project Manager: Candidate will be primarily responsible for managing engineering services for transportation and related projects involving; design of roadways and interstates, roadway improvements and widening, design of roadway drainage and stormwater management facilities, preparation of traffic management plans, and related services. Duties will also include; providing design leadership, marketing transportation engineering services, and management of personnel. - Requirements: B.S. Civil Engineering or related degree. Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia with 10 years of experience in: managing transportation engineering projects; design of roadway/interstate projects, marketing engineering services; participating in interviews and presentations; and participating in public involvement meetings. Good written and verbal communication skills required - Additional experience that will be beneficial for this position, includes: o Design requirements of VDOT and/or municipalities in Hampton Roads. o Construction Administration. o Design-Build projects. o Familiarity with Intelligent Transportation Systems. o Masters Degree in related transportation field.
